A huge thanks to Steftron, my epic big sister, for taking me to see Cosmo in the first place and helping me start the long journey that is living with an umbrella cockatoo.
Another huge thanks to my parents for supporting me, both financially and in morale, as I saved up for and studied umbrella cockatoos. Thanks for letting me visit Birds Unlimited to meet the baby cockatoos.
And finally, thank you to all responsible and knowledgeable cockatoo owners on MyToos and other websites who aid people in learning how to meet the needs and wants of this amazing animal.

Today is Wednesday. My parents left for the camp in Mississippi a little while ago. The birds and I now declare rule over the house until Saturday evening.
